Evan made an illustrated edition of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, the original book written by L. Frank Baum in 1900. This is a new, illustrated version of the original work that is now in the public domain!

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is a beautiful, dreamlike book, and it’s very different from the adaptations that are more widely-known. In the illustrations, Evan has tried to emphasize the strange atmosphere of its setting, and the sense of being lost and overwhelmed by an otherworldly place. There are almost 100 illustrations for the book: 24 of them are full-page illustrations that begin each chapter. The rest are spot illustrations that emphasize the characters.
